Material Specifications
Our coding digits/type are manufactured in high quality brass or stainless steel to suit each individual application.
We can advise on material selection however some examples are as follows:
- BRASS-Flat Faced Characters mainly used on Hot Foil Coders from 3mm to 12mm character height.
- BRASS-Radial sections used on Hot Ink Printers for printing onto film
- ALLOY-Flat Faced Characters mainly used on Ink Transfer machines such as the Happa Machines.
- Hardened Steel-Raised Sharp Faced Characters Used on all types of Debossing applications, Rotary Code Wheels and Blister Machines
- Hardened Steel-Flat Faced Characters mainly used on Hot Foil Coders the character sizes are normally 1.5mm and 2mm size.
- Hardened Steel-Sunk Engraved (Concave) used by pressing into melted plastic to leave a raised code, normally on plastic type tubes
